SEO and how a consumer uses search engines

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an Art in its own right. Knowing that you want YOUR website to come up first requires an understanding of the methodalogies SEO when you search for specific phrases.

If a customer is searching using a general phrase, SEO is used to try to get high in the rankings for that phrase. Using the available "resources" at the tiime; i.e. the customers info, and the current tools being used by the search engines, allow for a better result in your marketing.

It is a moving target and SEO is a very narrow range of competancy best maintained by specialists.

Web 2.0 should be Web 2 to the billionth power, so many choices and tools out there. I choose Blogger.com because I can be up and running fast and didn't have to write (much) code.

The "Easy" way to publish content and let people subscribe through a reader or email.

Make it easy on your customers to gather information...push it out to them, instead of them having to search for it.
